VACUUM:
One vacuum unit which can service 6 pipes at one time.
WELDING:
VIT up to 9 5/8” welded with an advanced automatic girth welding machine. This is the largest robotic welder available for VIT.
Competitors have robotic weld capability up to 5 ½” while manual welding larger diameters that could compromise vacuum integrity.
TESTING:
Apparent heat conductivity (measuring K value). One testing unit that can service 6 pipes at one time.
VIT Refurbishing Service:
Re-welding, re-introducing vacuum, testing for K value, prep for threading.

SD-2T :
Coupling type connection, the connection strength is equal to or higher than the pipe body; Buttress thread, which has high connecting strength, easier to process; Main sealing use radial seal structure with sphere surface at box end/ conical surface at pin end, which has better sealing effect; -200 Reverse torque shoulder, which improves the composite bearing capacity of the connection; Inner wall of the pipe body is at the same level with inner wall of the coupling.
SD-3T:
Coupling type connection, the connection strength is equal to or higher than the pipe body; Buttress thread, which has high connecting strength, easier to process; Main sealing use radial seal structure with conical surface at box end/ conical surface at pin end, which has better sealing effect; -150 Reverse torque shoulder, which improves the composite bearing capacity of the connection; Inner wall of the pipe body is at the same level with inner wall of the coupling.
SD-5T:
Flush joint connection, the connection strength is equal to the pipe body; Buttress thread, which has high connecting strength; Main sealing use radial seal structure with conical surface at box end/ conical surface at pin end, which has better sealing effect; Double shoulders structure with -30°Reverse torque shoulder and 90°torque shoulder, which improves the composite bearing capacity and sealing performance of the connection;
"VIT" advantage description:
It is composed of outer pipe, inner pipe, insulation, coupling, seal ring and insulated liner. The insulation includes multilayer aluminum foil and glass fiber.
Since the welding process is a critical step in qualified VIT construction, all welds are completed by robotic welding. This process improves both the level and longevity of the vacuum.
The gases which affect the thermal insulation property are cleared away, so that the thermal insulation property is declined slowly, and “VIT” keeps working well.
The inner tube of “VIT” can release the prestress when it is affected by heat of stream, which will compensate the inner tube and outer tube elongation, and it will guarantee the products’ reliability.
The way Using “VIT” to conduct Steam injection will reduce heat loss significantly, and it can inject deeper and maintain the steam quality.
VIT” has no coupling and no upset end, and the inner tube and outer tube can use SD-5T premium connection. SD-5T is easy to buck on, metal to metal seal, and it has better anti-thread gluing capacity and longer service life. The non-vacuum part is shorter, so the heat loss will be reduced. “VIT” can meet the requirements of different kinds of well design and operation.
